I have been working in print design in various forms for over 20 years. Starting with silkscreen and high-volume t-shirt printing, I then moved on to other forms of print design including work at advertisement agencies, magazine publishers and currently, newspaper publishing. I started my newspaper career designing ads and page layouts for a small newspaper in N.J., The Courier. I took on the huge task of updating the creative department from traditional wax-and-paste camera-ready layouts into the digital age. In the process of setting up new software, networks and workflows, I developed my love for production management in print publishing. That led me to The San Francisco Examiner, where I became part of the production management team. While I have always held steady industry positions over the years, I have also worked on many freelance and personal projects, some of which is presented here. As a musician and lover of music, I have been fortunate to have worked on designs for amazing artists such as Ernest Ranglin, Don Preston, Adrian Belew and Neapolitan Murphy Brock, just to name a few. I love the art and history of concert posters and flyers and the artists that uphold the tradition.
